I'm thinking of changing his weapon, I mean in a wasteland you try to hunt for food, right? So a pistol wouldn't really work. Either I change it to a rifle or a highly advanced sci-fi style Gauss hand gun. For that matter maybe, hundreds of years and maybe tries at recreating earth, the waste land would be a bit more hospitable than an endless dusty plane. As the radiation slowly wares of a few plants struggle worth from the ground to a harsh unmediated sun, and little to no fertile soil or water. I think that would be interesting to see.

Entry 3, 12/5/11

I was thinking of adding a dog to the story, or a another main character, as dust wanders looking for civilization, it might be nice to give him a companion. Either a German shepherd named Hunter, or a brother named Ash, I've got rough sketches of Ash but thats about it. I was also pondering having the 'vaults'(I know it's like fallout) be sort of a bureaucratic mechanized way of life, and the wasteland be sort of a ram shackle neo-west steam-punk type place (when there is civilization), but again I don't know. I defiantly don't want it just to be an endless desert type wasteland. All I really know for sure is that I waste a LOT of time drawing this stuff during social studies.

entry 2, 12/4/11

So that was a sketch of my post apocalyptic character, Dust. The basic back round of this story is that an infectious disease spreads across the united states and all non infected inhabitants are rushed into bunkers placed miles under ground. The United States are almost destroyed by frequent bombings reducing the USA to a dusty waste land with no signs of life, only the surviving humans and animals living far under ground. Among these survivors lives our main character, Dust.
